Inky Escapades

Baby Elephant Stone Art Workshop

Each one of these creatures takes on a character of its own.

Approximately 9” tall.

He is created from a recycled jar, polystyrene ball and tin foil and masking tape.

Full Day 10:00am until 5:00pm plus two hours colouring at least two or three days later (please book the follow up date at time of booking)
2 persons minimum on weekends.
Please note, this is probably not a beginners project.

I will lead you through the process step by step to create the armature and then clothe it in stone art clay. Finally the colouring process which is always the Wow! factor in Powertex which is done two or three days later to allow the sculpture to fully dry.

In this extensive step by step workshop I will lead you through the creation of the Armature.

I have found that the more people on the course the later the course runs please allow for the workshop to be later than advertised.

Please note if there are two or three of you it is possible to split the long day and create the armature in the 1st session, complete the stone art in the 2nd session and then do a 3rd session for the colouring if you prefer. This would not be possible on a weekend.
