Sea Bird 3D Freestanding Sculpture Workshop

Come and create this beautiful 3d Sea Bird Sculpture.

Approximately 14″ tall.

Available in split sessions if 3/4 people are attending  – Please note this is a 4 hour hour build before we can take a break whilst we allow the sculpture to be semi-dried in order to complete the colouring.

You will be shown how to take polystyrene spheres and a wooden base and turn it into this beautiful sculpture using Powertex and Recycled Fabrics.

I will lead you through the process step by step creating the Bird Armature.
 Adding all the various fabric layers and embellishments.
Finally the colouring process which is always the Wow! factor in Powertex. ( This can be completed on a separate session if there are 32/4 people attending if you feel that 4 hours is enough in one session.

Once you have allowed this to fully dry inside ( 3 WEEKS)  you can display it outside as Powertex is weather resistant.

Long Day 10:00am to 5pm. – Please note that the “wet” work needs to be completed before we can take a break and this is not likely to be until 2/3pm. If you would prefer I can split this course into two sessions and you can return to complete the colouring on a seperate session – this is only available if there are 3/4 people participating
